The IGAR reconstruction method

In the heart of our project lies the “IGAR” (Image-Guided Atomistic Reconstruction) method.

It consists in utilizing the 2D LF-HRTEM imaging of pyrocarbons to create equivalent 3D images, which then serve as templates to locate carbon atoms in a molecular dynamics simulation.
